I’m Kristy Gostelow. An artist manager

I founded Kadence Group in 2015, a boutique music company that specialises in Artist Management and Management Services for artists and bands.

We work with artists and bands to help them develop the foundation of their business. What types of artists or bands does this program suit?

It doesn’t matter whether you’re a solo artist, duo or band, or what genre of music you happen to be in, this workshop is designed to focus on the project you’ve developed and the funding that will bring it to life.

Do I need to already have a project in mind?

While most people sign up to the workshop with a project already in mind, partly developed or fully developed, that’s not to say you can’t join the workshop. We focus on the process for developing your project so it’s ready for funding. You may find that going through this will help inspire the idea for the project that best suits your music business.

I’m new to the music business. Will this be too advanced for me?

Not at all. This applies to all levels, whether you’ve just started gigging or you’ve been at it for 30 years. The process for securing funding is the same. I provide a step-by-step process to guide you through to avoid overwhelm.

I want individualised support. Is that possible?

If you would prefer direct help from me, rather than through a course, there are two options on the Grant Writing page https://kadencegroup.com.au/grant-writing You can book in a Grant Writing Mentoring Session, where I will guide you through being able to pull together your application. Or you can book me for Grant Application Writing, where I will write the application for you.

How long do I have access to the workshop for?

For the life of the workshop. Each time you have a new project you need funding for, you can go back through the workshop again.

What happens after I join?

You will receive an email that gives you access to the workshop. There is an outline of what you’re going to learn and how to use the workshop to get the best out of it.

What sort of projects can I use the funding for?

We dive into the process for developing your project. This highlights some of the projects you may be considering gaining funding for, like recording an album, touring as a band, or for career development.
